We ask that you please know your exact size and review our exchange/return policy before ordering.
We encourage getting sized at your local jeweler or a shop near you to be 100% sure of your size. The examples below are just a "guide" to assist you. The sizes displayed on our website are the only sizes we currently offer.
NECKLACE SIZING
Can be sized at home by wrapping a string or shoe lace to your desired fit and then measuring the length in inches. Each item will state its size but our typical chain lengths include: 16 in, 18 in, 20 in, 22 in, and 24 in. All leather bands are 22 inches in length and can be adjusted down accordingly.
BRACELET SIZING
CHAINLINK BRACELETS:
Can be sized at home by wrapping a string or shoe lace around your wrist to your desired fit and then measuring the length in inches (refer to image below), sometimes leaving a little leeway for comfort and ease of taking on and off.
Generally, Men's sizes are 8 inches and Women's sizes are 7 inches.
CUFF BRACELETS:
Please do not bend your cuff to take it on and off, the cuff can and will break if doing so (we are not liable if you break your cuff). Please follow image below for putting on and taking off cuff bracelets. Cuff sizes are approximately, Women's 2.25 inches diameter and Men's at 2.5 inches diameter.
RING SIZING
If you would like "at home" ring sizing methods, please see below. Always take into account the size of your knuckle. Do not order if you have not been sized in person or are at all unsure of your size. These options provide very rough estimates of your true size.
OPTION A:
- Wrap a piece of loose string around your finger. Be sure to allow for the size of your knuckle.
- With a pen, mark the point on the string where the end meets.
- Measure the string from the end to the pen mark in millimeters (mm).
- This will find the Inside Circumference (mm) of your size, referring to the chart below, match that measurement with the U.S. conversion size.
*Note: You can measure diameter of an existing ring and use this chart for sizing.

Our pieces are created to either look vintage or high shine. Our Vintage finished pieces are better for everyday wear and our Polished pieces should be handled with care.
We like to mix up our look and offer a wide variety by making our jewelry with different types of metals and finishes. Sterling Silver, Solid Gold, and Brass bathed in Solid Gold are our metals of choice. All can act differently from exposure to different types of elements like the ones mentioned below.
DO:
If you want to keep the original beauty of our pieces, please take off your jewelry before activity or use with any substances (especially for our high polished finish and our heavy gold plated items). You may notice that over time our pieces can change due to wear and tear and exposure from substances like chlorine, salt, sulfur (leather products), rubber, water and air. To ensure longevity, take off your jewelry as much as possible after use and do not toss your pieces all together in a pile. Store them separately so they’re not rubbing up against one another. Also, consider wrapping them in tissue paper or a soft cloth when you’re not wearing them. When you want to clean your jewelry, soak them in warm, soapy water and use a cloth or very soft brush to gently rub away any gunk, dirt, or tarnish.
All of our gold plated pieces are subject to fading if not handled with proper care. If you would like to avoid plated pieces entirely, we offer Solid 14k Gold and Solid .925 Sterling Silver options.
Please take certain precautions when it comes to how you handle your jewelry if you like the way it looks when new. Proper care is an important part of keeping your jewelry looking its best.
DO NOT:
Do not wear your necklaces, rings, and bracelets when you’re cleaning or working with harsh chemicals; when you’re in chlorinated pools/spas; or while you’re playing sports or doing any type of physical activity.
For Cuff bracelets, DO NOT bend the metal of the cuff to take it on and off your wrist, the cuff can deform and will break (we are not responsible if you break your cuff). Instead, carefully and gently, size the cuff once to your wrist so it is able to be tightly rotated on and off without further bending.

PROCESSING, SHIPPING, & RETURNS
PROCESSING
Our average processing and fulfillment time for orders is 1 - 2 business days. Please note that processing times can vary depending on the items ordered.
All of our Solid Gold (14k Solid Gold) pieces are made-to-order and typically take a processing period of approximately 2 - 4 weeks. Solid Gold items are Final Sale. Due to its costly nature, we do not stock Solid Gold items. Feel free to contact us before ordering if you feel hesitant about the wait time or any other concerns.
SHIPPING
Domestic Shipping
Orders will ship via USPS Ground Advantage Mail within the United States. We offer free shipping and returns for orders over $150. For orders below $150, there will be a flat shipping rate of $5.99. Upon fulfillment and dispatch of your order, you will receive a Shipment Notification email containing a tracking number. Orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage Mail with an estimated shipping time within 2 - 5 business days in the continental U.S. If you would like to request an earlier ship date or need your order to arrive by a specific date, please reach out to us before placing your order. In the event of any delays or cancellations to your order, we will contact you directly via email or phone. We do not guarantee any ship dates as shipping delays and interruptions are out of our control. It's important to note that Selva is not held responsible for lost items if an incorrect shipping address is provided. All shipments are facilitated through USPS Ground Advantage mail. Once orders are fulfilled and handed over to the USPS, there is nothing more we can control during the shipping process, any delays or holds during shipment will be handled through USPS. We will contact them on your behalf or you can contact them directly if you are having trouble retrieving your package.
***For holiday orders within the U.S., we recommend placing your order by 12/12/2025 to ensure delivery in time for Christmas.***
International Shipping
International orders are accepted on a special case basis. Alternate shipping charges may apply. If, for any reason, we are unable to ship to your country, we will promptly notify you. Upon receipt of your Shipment Notification with your tracking number, you should expect delivery of your package within 2 to 5 weeks.
Depending on your location, most orders will be delivered by your local postal service, arriving with your regular mail.
RETURNS POLICY
For inquiries concerning your order and returns, kindly reach out to our Online department at info@selvajewelry.com. Please include your order number, email address associated with the order, and your shipping address.
You may return most new, unworn, unused items in their original boxes and packaging within 14 days of delivery for a store credit or an exchange. Please contact us first to initiate a return. For orders under $150, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If the return is due to our error (such as receiving an incorrect or defective item), we will promptly rectify our mistake upon receiving the returned product. Upon receipt of your return, we are happy to issue a store credit for items returned in new and unused condition. Store credits and refunds are issued after we receive the item. Once we issue your refund, it takes up to 7 days for your financial institution to make funds available in your account.
Given the labor and time invested in each item, orders can only be fully refunded if canceled within 24 hours of your purchase; any request after the allotted time will be subject to restocking fee ($10 per item) or will be issued via a store credit minus the restocking fee. Each customer is entitled to 1 return per order. After the first return, restocking fees will apply to any subsequent return/exchange. International orders are not eligible for exchange and are considered Final Sale.
Items sold online at discounted prices or purchased using discount/promo codes are considered Final Sale. The same goes with Custom Orders, Solid Gold items, or any item marked as "Final Sale." Returns for such merchandise will not be accepted.
Exchanges/returns must be postmarked within 14 days of the original shipping date and shipped back to us in a prepaid package. We do not accept CODs. All returned merchandise must be unworn, unused, undamaged, and in its original condition, including the original boxes, packaging, and invoice/receipt.
We reserve the right to deny returns/exchanges that do not adhere to our policy requirements. We highly recommend using a traceable carrier and ensuring the full value of the merchandise being returned, as we are not liable for missing, lost, damaged, or stolen return packages. Customers are responsible for the shipping fees of returned item(s).
Please contact us first to confirm the return and receive the return shipping address.
Upon acceptance of the merchandise for exchange, the new item will be shipped based on availability.
TAXES & DUTIES
All applicable customs, import duties and fees, taxes, and any other charges and fees are the responsibility of the customer (even if you refuse any shipments upon delivery). We ship your package DDU, "duties and taxes unpaid", and we do not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If your order does require these additional charges, they must be paid by you in order for your package to clear customs. Some countries may require additional fees paid Collect on Delivery (COD). These fees are paid to the local carrier and are not collected by Selva. Customs authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package(s). Customs agents have the right to release or deny release of your package(s), and in rare cases, they may also delay delivery.

SOLID SILVER
.925 Sterling Silver: Solid Sterling Silver is highly durable and hypoallergenic which makes it great for everyday wear. The highest quality wearable silver (92.5% Silver and 7.5% metal alloys for strength). Keep it for a lifetime.
GOLD
Gold: We use a heavy solid gold layer bathed over brass for a more affordable yet longer lasting gold option. We always do 2.5 microns or more of solid gold over brass.
Gold Vermeil: For those who like a higher quality and heavier feeling base metal, our Gold Vermeil is a heavy solid gold layer bathed over .925 Sterling Silver. Many of our Gold chains are Gold Vermeil, with Italian-made .925 Sterling Silver as the base and a heavy solid gold bath of 2.5 microns or more.
SOLID GOLD
Solid 14k Gold: This one speaks for itself, solid, karated gold lasts and is worth every penny. We use 14k Solid Gold for its beautiful mid-tone yellow coloring, not too orange and not to white. Keep it for a lifetime.

POLISHED: High shine, high-end finish that makes a statement. Polished pieces are more "porous", please take extra care with these: use a polishing cloth to clean and take off your pieces to avoid scratches when active. All our Solid Gold pieces are polished finish.
